Veterans and Community

Who We Stand With.

We build tools for people who put themselves in hard places. The organizations on this page take care of those same people when they get home, and we back them with knives, funding, and our own time. This is not a campaign. It is how we operate.

More Than a Logo

We Believe Support Should Be Useful.

For us, community involvement is not about collecting names for a sponsor page. It means giving organizations something they can use, showing up when they ask, and building relationships that last beyond a single event.

We would rather give a few causes our time and resources than spread ourselves thin.

Veteran Support

The Organizations We Back.

Both of these groups do the same essential work: they get post-9/11 combat veterans outdoors, with their families and with each other, at no cost to the people who earned it.

Travis Mills Foundation

Founded by retired Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills, the foundation runs a barrier-free retreat in Maine's Belgrade Lakes region for post-9/11 recalibrated veterans and their families. Every program is adaptive, all-inclusive, and fully covered for the families who attend. They are our neighbors, roughly an hour up the road from our shop.

How We Help

  • Sponsor of the TMF Plane Pull.
  • Knives donated to the 2026 Building Strength Gala.
  • A direct contribution to the gala's fundraising campaign.

Darby's Warrior Support

Named for Colonel William O. Darby, who stood up the first US Army Ranger Battalion, DWS hosts physically and emotionally injured post-9/11 Special Operations combat veterans on all-inclusive hunting and fishing trips in Arkansas. Guests are Purple Heart recipients and equivalent. Everything is covered but the license.

How We Help

  • Donating knives to their hosted veterans every year since 2023.
  • Every knife we send carries the same full support as one bought off the shelf. If it ever needs service, it comes to us.
  • On site with the organization and its guests, because a box in the mail is not a partnership.
  • Read the story of a hunt week in Darby's Warrior Support: Healing Heroes in the Heart of Arkansas.

The outdoors is where these knives get used. It is also where a lot of people get put back together.
